The OATEN staff exchange aims at familiarizing ELIXIR Nodes with open-access tools for effective Node management. Several workshops are planned covering strategic management, financial management and project management, which are aligned with the Project Management Module of the ELIXIR-CONVERGE ELIXIR training program in Management - ELITMa.
The kickoff of this project took place in Bergen in November 2022, with a meeting of the co-leads, Ana Portugal Melo, Christine Stansberg, Juan Arenas and Katharina Heil, for planning and launching the foreseen workshop schedule with the other project participants. Celia van Gelder, Co-lead of ELITMa with Ana Portugal Melo, also join the discussion to ensure the already mentioned alignment with ELITMa.
The OATEN workshop series will start on the 17th of January 2023. Twelve ELIXIR nodes will join in this collective effort for excellence in management at ELIXIR.
This project is based on previous collaborative work developed in ELIXIR-CONVERGE, RITRAIN, RItrainPlus and EMMRI.
