From June 2nd to 5th, the BioData.pt team proudly participated in the ELIXIR All Hands Meeting 2025, which took place in Thessaloniki, Greece. The event brought together hundreds of researchers, technical experts, and representatives from across the ELIXIR nodes, providing an excellent platform for sharing knowledge, strengthening collaborations, and aligning strategies across Europe’s leading life science data infrastructure.
Throughout the meeting, BioData.pt representatives engaged in multiple sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities, highlighting Portugal’s active role in advancing data management and stewardship in life and health sciences. The event also offered a chance to showcase ongoing initiatives such as the GLIM-BioData RDM Centre, and to explore new synergies with partners from other ELIXIR nodes and European research infrastructures.
Participation in this annual gathering reinforces BioData.pt’s commitment to contributing to the development of open, FAIR-compliant data practices, while also ensuring that Portuguese researchers remain closely integrated into the European research data ecosystem.
